WSNC Presentation Night 2022

After a few years of cancellations, it was wonderful to finally be able to celebrate the successes of our junior and senior teams again at the 2022 Presentation Night. Held once again at the Ferntree Gully Hotel, team were able to let their hair down and have some fun at the photobooth, lolly bar and of course, on the dance floor.


The Winter 2022 season saw some incredible achievements from WSNC teams and players.


Congratulations to the A Grade Raptors who were runners up for the Winter 2022 season, and to the Open 1 Sandpipers & Open 3 Falcons who were Premiers! A brilliant effort.




We also celebrated some incredible individual achievements as part of the MDNA awards. Well done to Alovi Gomes from the Kingfishers for placing runner up in the U15 Fairest & Best Award, and Mey Fuon Lu for winning the Fairest & Best Award for the Open 3 division.


Our Open 3 Falcons team also took home the award for best club team - well done to our players!



Junior Presentations

At our jam-packed Junior Presentations we welcomed a long list of new players to the club, and kicked off with participation awards for our under 11 Finches.


We recognised the Runner up Fairest & Best Fairest & Best Players, and coach's awards for the U13, U15 & U18 teams. Congratulations to each of the following players for your achievement!

We also celebrated the significant achievements of two club members who had been previously presented with awards for their service. Mey Wun Gao who received her 30 year service award and Clive Savory who was awarded Life Membership following his incredible contribution to WSNC over many years in a variety of roles.




Club Champion


Our Club Champion award is the highest accolade a player can receive. The winner is decided by the Best & Fairest votes cast throughout the season, and every player in a competitive team is eligible to win.


In 2022, the winner of our Club Champion was awarded to Morgan Rawlings for the second year running, who played in the U13 Kookaburras in the Winter Season.


Congratulations Morgan for your incredible achievement and contribution to our club.
